Historic Training School for
Blacks
 The
MBH is located in the Training School for Blacks. This was the
first county training school for African Americans in Elmore
County. The building is rich in history from its beginning
as a Rosenwald school until now as the area Museum of Black
History. The Museum has artifacts and historical documents of
the lives of the African American residents of Elmore County. |
